On Writing

I have decided to start writing with three goals in mind:

Most of what I produce is at work and for engineers, so there is a focus on brevity. I can scale the technical language depending on the audience, but I want to become better at expressing non-technical thoughts.

Writing is not algorithmic, and I struggle with choosing both the content and scope of an idea. I would like to organize my thinking so that the process becomes an enjoyable and honest reflection of myself, and I can write without hesitation.

I frequently vlog, and I want to add another dimension to this account of my life. I hope to clarify my own ideas and beliefs, and document the things I build and find interesting.
